Sonic Factor Year 1: The Beginning of the End The explosion pierces the bleak sky, blooming against the clouds.

Beneath, a blue hedgehog speeds ahead, leaping over chunks of falling metal plates that formed what used to be the West Tower. He expertly navigates over the forming obstacle course, taking care not to snag his red and white shoes or his dark gray runner's shorts. A massive burning-edged strip of curling metal forms a bridge between two ledges. The hedgehog passes over in two seconds flat.

"Priority One!" the PA cries out. "Someone get that hedgehog! NOW!"

Fluttershy Greeneby ~saffronpanther

Over three months ago, I made a giftart piece for my buddy Jake of Rainbow Dash dressed as his other favorite character Frank West ([link]). I am not an MLP fan or a brony. I honestly have no interest in the series. But I wanted to make something special for his birthday, so I just went with it.

Since then, I've periodically received requests from people to do a follow-up pic of one of the other ponies as Chuck Greene, usually Fluttershy or Applejack as the candidate. Eventually, I decided to go ahead and do it, if not for at least to please some fans out there. So here you go, friends, another MLP piece for your interests.

I went with Fluttershy since I saw her kick a g*ddamn bear's ass once, an act that has earned my respect tenfold. That, and I frequently see her described as a "friend to animals" (if not trying to force them to love her), so I figured it'd make sense if one considers that one of the possible Dead Rising 2 survivors is Snowflake the Tiger. Since Dash West was styled after a meme, I made Fluttershy Greene in memetic style based off the various inserts I've seen with Chuck's stern face atop some DR-related quip or comment. I also gave her the Knife Gloves because they are still my favorite weapon in the whole game (I wanted to do the iconic Paddlesaw but it kept coming out weird). So enjoy. Yay.

It's funny. Although I'm not a brony/MLP fan, I have grown fond of this particular piece. The fact that she's dressed up as one of my favorite characters probably helps. And honestly, I don't hate her either. Compared to the rest of them, Flutter doesn't make me want to headdesk 'til I receive a bloodied forehead when she talks. According to some friends who are bronies, that's proof I have a soul in there somewhere.

If you consider Off the Record, does this mean Dash will battle Psychopath Flutter at some point?
